William Thomas Riker is the first officer of the Enterprise-E, and is
played by Jonathan Frakes. His code is "Theta Alpha 2737 Blue."
His quarters are on Deck #8, Room 0912. He is second-in-command aboard
the enterprise and commands the away teams. He was born in Valdez,
Alaska in 2335 to Kyle Riker. His mother died when he was very young.
He was 32 years old during the fourth season of TNG, which makes him
about 36-38 now. He has served on the Enterprise since "Encounter at
Farpoint" and has been offered his own ship to command three times,
but has turned it down because he enjoys the Enterprise so much. Riker
is a master poker player who routinely defeats the senior officers of
the Enterprise. He also enjoys playing the trombone and cooking.
Before serving on the Enterprise he was first officer under captain
DeSoto aboard the Hood.
