The Mangoweb Writing My Poems Page

Well, here is the page where I display all my poems I have written for you. However as you might be able to see, I don't have a lot yet. I am still searching my archives more poems that I consider worthy of display, so I may be updating this site frequently. Then again, maybe not. You never know.

A Sonnet of Power

Come to me all you who are good, clean, pure
Of such is strength of men and beasts recorded
If you of such temperament are sure
Then the world is yours, as such is purported

Those who possess these qualities and more
To you is given the Secrets of Power
Of Dead and death, taken and took, cut and tore
To do with what needs doing in that hour.

Fly to the skies, dig to the earth, and I
Swim the oceans, tunnel the earth, and You
I and you, you and I, shall be most high
To dream the dreams of strength and power too

Never looking back, Never looking on
Don’t look at me now, but I am the one.

What is Wrong

What is that feeling
The desire of hate
To whom all seem to have
And to whom none should

Why can’t we all see the same
That good is right and bad is wrong
What motivates these others
These villains, These foes of order

What makes them wrong and me right
Who is to say that my sins and excesses
Are no better then their pillaging
Perhaps they aren’t

So the real villain is who?
You or me, me or You?
Am I wrong? Am I right?
Am I a villain, or are you?
